Coming to the budget phones in Pakistan, Infinix is one of the hot sellers based on its low prices and multiple features. However, it’s sometimes difficult to identify which model or phone is just right to buy. Infinix Hot 40 has been in the hype for a long time based on its features and multiple attractions. Plus, the Infinix Hot 40 Price in Pakistan is another attraction for everyone to buy the phone. Still, if you wish to get it at a more affordable price, check out Techroid.
Before you sync in to buy a new Infinix Hot 40, you need to know a few things about it. Let’s check out our hands-on review of the device. We have tested the phone for its performance, battery, camera and other features to help you make the right choice.
What Comes in the Box?
Since Infinix Hot 40 was launched alongside the Infinix Hot 40 Pro Free Fire version its packaging does have an outer card. You may not get one in the Pakistan variant but somewhere in the international variants. However, in the box, you will get your smart Infinix Hot 40 device along with a USB-C type cable, a 33W Fast wall adapter, a SIM ejector, a user manual, and a silicon cover. Keeping it short, you are buying a phone with everything, unlike an iPhone that requires you to buy accessories separately.
A Basic Overview!
In the first look from the packaging to the unboxing and using the devices, it’s pretty decent. If you like a stylish and sturdy phone with a sleek look, Infinix Hot 40 is the best option for you on a budget of under 40,000 PKR. The storage is good, the chipset is sophisticated, and the camera works fine with its built-in settings. But, given all the features, at some point, we felt that Redmi 13 could be an option if you wish to extend your budget a little.
Our Detailed Experience So Far!
Our experience with Infinix Hot 40 has been good so far. At certain points, we found a few lacks in the phone, but the cost barrier developed an appropriate understanding. If it gets any better, the pricing could go beyond the limit, and Infinix is known for its low-cost smartphone production. Let’s check out what we experienced in the process.
Design & Display
There is no doubt you can feel the sleekness of the phone on all of its sides from the sides to the top and bottom as well. The frosted back glass and a decent camera bump make it look even sleek and better. The speakers at the bottom with the charging port are placed nicely and add more to the compactness of the phone.
On the display side, you will get a 6.78-inch FHD, IPS display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Something you can easily use to enjoy movies, videos, and games on the device. We found two features helpful: the Eye Care mode, that reduces eye strain after a long use. And the Inadvertently Mode helps to avoid accidental taps.
Overall, the colour and contrast are good but you may not find it effective to be used in broad daylight. The screen’s brightness and sensors are not powerful enough to give you a comfortable user experience.
Performance & Software
The phone is powered by the famous MediaTek Helio G88 chipset coupled with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Though the chipset is not the latest one you may find better ones in other phones like Redmi 13. But it is sufficient for the device to give you a good go-ahead for gaming and media playing. Plus, the RAM gives good support to the phone so you do not have to worry about slowing down.
Somehow, we experienced a few slowdowns in multi-tasking or operating heavy apps simultaneously on the phone. Its odes have a good multimedia display so you can get a lot of playback hours with the devices.
Infinix Hot 40 runs on XOS 13.5 based on Android 13. The Infinix version of Android is sleek and customizable so you can enjoy using it. The user-friendly interface lets you have a good time using the phone.
Camera
One thing that may hook you with Infinix Hot 40 is the camera kit. It has a 50MP main lens with f/1.6 aperture and autofocus features. That means you can enjoy some cool clicks from the main camera even in the low light. Plus, the night mode of the camera makes your pictures light up evenly giving more details.
Additionally, you will have a 2MP macro sensor and 0.08MP auxiliary lens that lets you capture the macro images. It gives you the power to capture all the tiny details you wish at any spot. On the front, it has a 32MP selfie lens with f/2.2 which means you will be having amazing selfie bursts.
Battery & Charging
To support all the powerful features and runtime of the devices there is a powerhouse of 5000mAh installed in the device. It lets you enjoy some good movie time, games, calls, and camera use as well. Plus, the 33W fast charger coming in the box lets you recharge the device within no time.
The Verdict!
Considering the Infinix Hot 40 price in Pakistan and the features it offers, you can think of the phone as your next venture. A combination of 8GB RAM and 256GB storage with a 50 MP main camera, large display and stereo speakers is good enough for you to enjoy. However, if you check out other options like Redmi phones, you may find more suitable options as well.
