Your sight climbs during a burst in Rainbow Six Siege. You pull down to keep it near the same point. That correction is the behaviour a recoil script is concerned with. An aimbot addresses a different problem: directing aim towards a target. Both can affect where your sight ends up, but the information behind the movement is different.
Recoil compensation starts with the shot
Recoil compensation concerns the movement caused by firing. A recoil script generally produces compensating input associated with shooting, with the intention of countering that movement. Consider a burst aimed at an empty wall. There is no opponent to select, yet the sight can still move as the weapon fires.
